First Blog Post Ever!

So, I've set up a blog.

For this assignment, I'm thinking about doing a small publication with a 'homemade' crafty grow-your-own-vegetables kind of feel. I'm going to look for articles about making stuff, perhaps for gifts, or just to be cheap or original.
At this stage my magazine inspirations are Healthy Food Guide and NZ Gardener, just because they have articles and 'how-to' guides as well as recipes or pattern instructions. I think I'll use these for general layout ideas, but not for the overall 'look'.
I'm still undecided about exactly which topics I'll cover, so I'll see what articles I can find.
